Christmas in Africa 101

G’day G’day,

So what on earth does Christmas on a ship... in Africa... look like?

Well for me, it looked a little like this...

The primary school kids came and decorated the tent...

Then there was the Rehab Christmas party...

We made our Christmas tree out of a skirt and crutches...

We had a Ginger bread house making contest... Please note, mine looked nothing like this...

Mask making contest...

The boys of the rehab team...

Let’s not forget the Christmas play...

Then there was the Ship’s Christmas market...

Then there was the Christmas photo shoot...

Then there were the carols by candle light...

With guest appearances from the African Wiggles...

And then there was the Christmas Eve get together with friends

with a white elephant gift exchange...

some presents were better than others...

Mango Men

And last but not least, lots and lots of Christmas food and games...

There’s no place like home over Christmas, however if that’s not a possibility then the ship is a pretty good alternative...

God is Good,
All the Time...
