He must become
greater and greater, and I must become less and less.
I value God more than anyone or anything in my life. I will lay down my life and value God’s opinion and direction more than my own or anyone else’s. He knows what is best for my life and He alone will be my conductor.
2. Influencing others
I
exist to impact the world around me for good and for God

For we are God’s
masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good
things he planned for us long ago.

Jesus came and
told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.
Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name
of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to
obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always,
even to the end of the age”.
God has created me with a special reason in mind. I will not waste my time on earth. I will use my gifts and talent to reach those God has called me to. I will engage my world in such a way that shows God’s love, goodness and saving grace, always with the end goal of salvation and discipleship in mind.
3. Compassionate to others

Jesus saw the
huge crowd as he stepped from the boat, and he had compassion on them because
they were like sheep without a shepherd.
I will live a life that is compassionate towards others. Jesus will be my example. Like Jesus, I will have empathy and not only have a desire to free others from their suffering but follow this with action. I will have compassion for people who are lost, suffering, broken and hurting. My prayer is that God breaks my heart for what breaks His and then that He gives me the strength and wisdom to do something about it.
4. Integrity

integrity walk safely, but those who follow crooked paths will slip and fall.

simply Yes, and your No be simply No; anything more than that comes from the
evil one.
If I am to impact the world around me, the world around me needs to see that I live a life that has integrity. I will have sound moral principles and be upright, honest and sincere. I acknowledge the effect my words can have and must ensure that what I say and do are the same thing. I realise that I am a work in progress but my goal is to always be same person in public as I am in private.
